Artists
A small group of artists meet every Saturday at Hang It picture framing, to play and create. While each of us has developed a definite style – (and we’ve noticed each has a favourite colour palette!), we love to share our ideas and try new techniques.
Materials include paper, canvas and boards, oils, acrylics, watercolours, inks, crayons, and collage. You’ll find abstract, realistic, and lots of in-betweens, in this beautiful range of artwork.

While we each have a small home studio, we look forward to this weekly meet, so we can share the enjoyment of creating for fun.
Every artwork created by the Hang It Marvels members is imbrued with fun, happiness, wellness and love. That is the way we Hang.
Deb Kroon
Debs work is ever changing, but reflects her own style of contemplation and composition. From recognisable Darwin collages, to abstracts on boards, canvas and paper her work is a surprising mix of styles and subjects.
Elizabeth Cohen
Primarily working with mixed media, she enjoys the mark making and the layering of paint, with collage and most types of drawing implements. Finished pieces morph from no plan and feel done by accident!
Margaret Muirhead
Margie enjoys colour and detail. She enjoys working with acrylic paint on board, developing layers until a design emerges, and is captured with the addition of markers and crayons.
Amanda Hackett
Amanda paints watercolours. She loves painting leaves and flowers that are both delicate and detailed. Watercolour is an exact and careful art form but is also full of emotion, colour and surprises throughout the process.
