I work in watercolour and mostly paint leaves, flowers and feathers. Although I have moved from Darwin to NSW, I continue to share my work with my sister, Deb, and send her my favourite pieces to frame and display at Gallery 140.

Watercolours make me happy, and my studio is my “happy place”. I love every stage, from sketching, mixing the colours, painting wet on wet, and adding the final details. I start with a feeling and vague idea, such as a realistic and finely detailed leaf, or a unnaturally coloured mass of monstera leaves.   I feel like the art creates itself with the magical flow of water.
