Notice we are surrounded by small artworks on paper or cardboard? We each worked on paper with masking taped sections, painting over the whole surface. We usually laugh at how awful they are! Then we take off the tape, and realise we have 4 interesting abstracts, all related to each other through colour and line, but making their own statements! Well, not always of course, but that’s the fun of it. Sometimes something wonderful emerges. And if not, we have some great pieces of collage paper!
