This is my largest canvas yet and the reason I started painting more seriously. I wanted a big picture to cover the fuse box in my kitchen! It started with paint and layers. Lots of colours, shapes, marks, scrapes, crayon, charcoal….. As you build up the layers and experiment, some parts you like more that others. You leave the parts you like and keeping working the areas that don’t quite work. Eventually you get to a time where you need to let it rest and ponder. This process can be slow and painful or short and sweet but it is the adventure that keeps you going. The journey is worth it, so much fun.
